How to Add Shortcuts to ChatGPT

ChatGPT’s new Memory feature has a lesser-known trick: it can store shortcuts, saving you time during chats.

Here’s how to set it up:

1. Go to the ChatGPT website. You need a Plus subscription to use Memory.

2. Click on your account name (bottom-left), then select ‘Settings’, ‘Personalization’, and turn on ‘Memory’.

3. Teach ChatGPT shortcuts by saying:
   Remember that when I start a prompt with ‘!si’, it means I want you to search the Internet; ‘!ci’ means create an image; and ‘!da’ means use Advanced Data Analysis
