OpenAI Fundraising at $1.4T+ Valuation — Racing to Close Before Anthropic's IPO: Reuters reports OpenAI is urgently locking in investor commitments for a round that would value the company above $1.4 trillion. The timing is explicit: close before Anthropic's expected November IPO sucks up institutional AI capital. OpenAI's valuation trajectory has been extraordinary — from $86B in early 2023 to $157B last year to $1.4T+ now — driven almost entirely by ChatGPT's consumer scale and the enterprise contract pipeline.
Federal Agencies Must Remove DeepSeek — WSJ Reports Full Civilian Ban The WSJ reports that federal civilian agencies are now required to remove DeepSeek technology and are blocked from future purchases. This follows similar bans at the state level and in Congress, but extends the restriction across all civilian federal agencies. For enterprise buyers: if you're selling AI tools to government, DeepSeek integration is now a disqualifier for federal contracts. For the broader market, it accelerates the bifurcation of the AI stack between US-deployable and China-origin models.
Meta Prometheus: Gigawatt-Scale Supercluster, 1M GPUs, 99% Fewer Training Interruptions Meta published details on Prometheus, its AI supercluster in New Albany, Ohio. Phase one connects hundreds of thousands of GPUs targeting ~1 million total for Muse model training. The engineering numbers are striking: over 85% pre-training goodput, over 90% RL goodput, and a 99% reduction in interruption rate versus prior infrastructure. This is the scale at which Meta is training its next frontier models — and it's a signal that the infrastructur

Blu Dot surpasses 2,000% ROAS with self-serve CTV ads
Home furniture brand Blu Dot blew up on CTV with help from Roku Ads Manager. Here’s how:
After a test campaign reached 211,000 households and achieved 1,010% ROAS, the brand went all in to promote its annual sales event. It removed age and income constraints to expand reach and shifted budget to custom audiences and retargeting, where intent was strongest.
The results speak for themselves. As Blu Dot increased their investment by 10x, ROAS jumped to 2,308% and more page-view conversions surpassed 50,000.
“For CTV campaigns, Roku has been a top performer,” said Claire Folkestad, Paid Media Strategist, Blu Dot. “Comping to our other platforms, we have seen really strong ROAS… and highly efficient CPMs, lower than any other CTV partner we've worked with.”
Using Roku Ads Manager, the campaign moved from a pilot to a permanent performance engine for the brand.
