Amazon has announced a major plan to invest at least $20 billion in building new AI data centers in the state of Pennsylvania, aiming to boost its cloud and AI infrastructure while creating thousands of new jobs.

  • New AI campuses will be built in Salem Township and Falls Township, with more locations under review

  • The project is expected to create at least 1,250 high-paying tech jobs, plus thousands more in construction and maintenance

  • Amazon has already invested over $26 billion in Pennsylvania since 2010
