Google Drops AI App Early!
Google launches NotebookLM app for Android and iOS before I/O event
Google has officially released its NotebookLM mobile app for Android and iOS, just ahead of the I/O 2025 conference. This app brings features similar to its desktop version.
NotebookLM is now available on Google Play and the App Store.
Users can create podcast-style Audio Overviews using AI.
The app can work offline and lets you listen while doing other tasks.
This release shows Google’s growing focus on AI-powered tools for everyday use. By launching NotebookLM on mobile, Google meets a top user request and brings powerful AI features, like summarizing content and generating audio, to users on the go. The timing also highlights how central AI will be in this year’s Google I/O event.
