Anthropic has launched Voice Mode for Claude, bringing natural spoken conversations to its AI assistant, like its major competitors.

• The beta will roll out to English-speaking users in the next few weeks, powered by the Sonnet 4 model.

• Users can talk and type seamlessly, choose from five voices, and get real-time transcripts.

• Paid users get Google Workspace integration, while free users have limited voice messages per month.

This marks a big step for Anthropic in keeping up with other AI labs. Now, the focus shifts to how well these tools work, things like speed, quality, and features will set them apart. It also highlights how far voice AI has advanced compared to older systems like Siri.
