Oxylabs has raised $130 million from Warburg Pincus at a $3.6 billion valuation.
As AI agents increasingly rely on real-time web data, the infrastructure behind them is becoming more important than ever. Oxylabs has spent the past decade building a responsible, compliant web intelligence platform that helps organizations access the fresh data AI systems need to make better decisions.
This investment reflects strong confidence in Oxylabs' long-term vision, enterprise readiness, and leadership in web intelligence—and gives the company even more resources to continue innovating for the AI era.

Dynamic AI Agent Teams Are Now in Antigravity
Lean marketing teams are drowning in asks with no time to build everything they need. A million things on the list, one of you.
Vibe coding changes the math.
You describe what you want in plain English and a working landing page, calculator, or interactive tool comes back. No designing, no code, no experience needed.
New to it? So is most of the room. On July 30, we'll assets live, start to finish, so you can see exactly how it works. Then you'll get the exact prompts to make your own that same day.
If you can write a campaign brief, you can do this. Come build the assets you keep pushing to next quarter.
AI CHEAT SHEET
AI news highlights
• OpenAI offered the US government a $42.6B stake — Sam Altman pitched Trump, Lutnick, and Bessent directly — 5% of OpenAI at its $852B valuation, framed as an Alaska-style public AI wealth fund. A government with equity has a very different incentive when it comes to restricting model access.
• Xi Jinping will deliver the first-ever keynote at the World AI Conference in Shanghai — July 17 — Beijing treating AI leadership as a top-tier national priority. The same day Gemini 3.5 Pro is expected to launch. One calendar square, two superpowers.
• Regulators picked a word for AI this week — and the word is "systemic" — Career Treasury analysts concluded the AI boom is now too entrenched to unwind quietly. The ECB gave every significant European bank until October 31 to prove it can take an AI-powered punch.
• Google ran short of compute and started rationing Gemini to Meta — TSMC posted record revenue on AI demand the same week. The infrastructure ceiling is not theoretical anymore.
• Compromised npm package 8.14.0 drops a Rust infostealer targeting Claude Desktop, Cursor, Windsurf, VS Code, and Zed config files — developer toolchain supply chain attack, confirmed by HN wire-level analysis. Check your jscrambler version today.
• Senate Judiciary Committee meets today to examine AI patent law — whether AI-generated inventions can be patented, who owns them, and how to keep frontier techniques protectable without locking up foundational methods. The outcome shapes where durable AI value concentrates.
• Cloudflare launched granular AI bot management — blocking Agent and Training crawlers by default from September 15 — all new domains will auto-block AI training and agent crawlers. The web's relationship with AI scrapers just changed structurally.
• The UK put AWS, Google Cloud, Microsoft, and Oracle under supervision reserved for firms that can break the financial system — the same regulatory category as systemically important banks. AI infrastructure is now financial infrastructure in the eyes of UK regulators.
Think through any hard problem in 10 minutes
Prompt: You are a rigorous thinking partner — not a yes-machine, not a cheerleader. Your job is to help me think more clearly about a hard problem, not to validate what I already believe. If my framing is wrong, tell me. If my assumptions are shaky, name them. If there is a better question than the one I am asking, ask it.
Here is the problem I am trying to work through: [describe it in plain terms — what you are trying to decide or understand, what you know, what you do not know, and what is making it hard].
Do four things:
1. Restate the problem — in one sentence, as you understand it. If I have framed it badly — if I am asking the wrong question, solving the wrong problem, or making an assumption I have not named — say so directly. The most expensive thinking mistakes happen before anyone starts reasoning.
2. Find the real constraint — what is the single factor that most limits my options here? Not a list of challenges. The one thing. If I could change only one thing about this situation, what would unlock the most? Be specific enough that I could actually act on it.
3. Name what I am not seeing — what assumption am I making that I have not examined? What would a smart person who disagreed with my current thinking say? What information, if I had it, would most change my view?
4. Give me one forcing question — not a list of considerations, not a framework. One question. The question that, if I answered it honestly, would make the right next step obvious. Write it as the question I would least want to answer — because that is usually the one that matters.
Final rule: do not tell me what to do. Help me think well enough to decide for myself.Trending AI tools
