LATEST NEWS

Former GitHub CEO raises record $60M to launch Entire, a platform to track and manage AI-written code.

Thomas Dohmke, the former CEO of GitHub, has raised a record $60M seed round for his new startup, Entire. The company is building an open source developer platform that helps teams track and manage code created by AI agents.

  • Dohmke left GitHub last August after four years, saying traditional dev tools were not built for a world where AI agents write the code.

  • Entire’s first product, Checkpoints, logs AI actions like prompts and decisions, so developers can review and audit how code was created.

  • The tool already works with Claude Code and Gemini CLI, with support for OpenAI Codex and GitHub coming soon.

Dohmke helped lead the platform where much of the world’s code is stored. His move into building tools for AI driven coding shows how fast the industry is changing.

Two xAI Founders Quit

Two more xAI co-founders leave the company after its SpaceX mega merger.

Two founding members of Elon Musk’s AI startup xAI, Tony Wu and Jimmy Ba, have announced they are leaving the company.

  • Tony Wu, who led Grok’s reasoning work and reported directly to Musk, said it is “time for my next chapter.” He joined xAI from Google in 2023.

  • Jimmy Ba also confirmed his departure, saying that 2026 will be a major year for the future of humanity.

  • Reports say Musk has been frustrated with delays to new Grok models, including the expected Grok 4.20 update.

xAI is pushing ahead with a SpaceX merger, aiming to grow fast and compete in the AI race. At the same time, it faces model delays, rising competition, and concerns around deepfakes.
