LATEST NEWS

Mistral AI rolls out its bold new Mistral 3 family with ten open models for many devices.
Mistral AI has shared a large new set of models called Mistral 3, built to run on phones, drones, laptops, and cloud systems. The line includes the powerful Mistral Large 3 and the lighter Ministral 3 models, all released under the Apache 2.0 license.
Mistral Large 3 uses a Mixture of Experts setup with 41 billion active parts from a pool of 675 billion, can handle text and images, and supports a context of 256k tokens.
The model shows strong test scores, beating some top rivals like DeepSeek 3.1 and doing close to Kimi K2 in several benchmarks.
The smaller Ministral 3 models run on devices with as little as 4 GB of video memory, come in 3B, 8B, and 14B sizes, and include versions for base tasks, chat, and reasoning.
This launch gives developers more open, flexible tools that work both online and offline, helping spread strong AI models across many devices and making advanced features easier for more people to use.

Lux Beats Top AI Models

New AI model Lux beats top rivals with faster speed and lower cost
OpenAGI, a startup created by an MIT researcher, has launched a new AI model called Lux. The company says Lux controls computers better than models from big players like OpenAI and Anthropic, while being faster and much cheaper.
Lux reached 83.6 percent on the tough Online Mind2Web test. OpenAI scored 61.3 percent and Anthropic scored 56.3 percent.
Lux works in one second per step, while OpenAI’s model takes about three seconds, and it runs at about one tenth of the cost.
Lux was trained using millions of screenshots and real actions, letting it handle not only web browsers but also desktop apps like Excel.
Better speed, higher accuracy, and lower cost could open the way for smarter computer agents that work on local devices with stronger safety checks. This may shape how people use AI tools for real computer tasks in everyday work.
