Nvidia agrees to a huge deal to buy key AI assets from Groq for 20 billion dollars.
Nvidia has agreed to pay 20 billion dollars to buy major assets from Groq, a company known for high speed AI inference chips. The deal also includes a technology license, while Groq will keep running as an independent company.
Nvidia will get Groq’s core assets, but GroqCloud is not part of the deal and will keep working as usual.
Groq’s founder and top leaders will join Nvidia to help grow and scale the licensed AI technology.
This is Nvidia’s biggest deal ever, much larger than its 7 billion dollar Mellanox purchase in 2019.
This move strengthens Nvidia’s position in AI, especially in real time and low delay AI tasks. It also shows how serious Nvidia is about to lead the future of AI computing.

Google is testing a new Lecture Mode that turns study notes into long audio classes.
Google is testing a new feature for NotebookLM that can change notes and documents into a long, spoken lesson. The goal is to make studying feel like sitting in a real classroom with an AI teacher.
Lecture Mode can read notes and sources out loud in one full lesson
The audio class can last up to 30 minutes, longer than past audio summaries
Users can choose this mode along with Brief and Deep Dive, and set the lesson length
This shows Google is putting more focus on learning tools and smart AI study help. If released, it could help students and researchers learn in an easier and more natural way using audio lessons instead of only reading text.
