OpenAI’s $20B Goal

OpenAI aims for $20 billion in revenue this year and plans $1.4 trillion in data center investments.

OpenAI CEO Sam Altman shared that the company expects to hit $20 billion in annual revenue by the end of 2025. The company also has $1.4 trillion in investment commitments for building data centers over the next eight years, showing huge growth in AI infrastructure and services.

Sora’s Android app hits around half a million installs just one day after launch.

The AI video app Sora by OpenAI reached about 470,000 downloads on its first day on Google Play. The iOS version earlier had 360,000 installs on its launch day and now both versions are growing fast in global markets.

• Data from Appfigures shows strong early demand in regions like North America and Southeast Asia.

• The Android version is now available in seven countries, including the US, Japan, and South Korea.

• The app quickly became one of the top free apps on both App Store and Google Play.
