OpenAI Goes Public
OpenAI completes major shift to a public benefit company and updates its deal with Microsoft.
OpenAI has officially become a public benefit corporation, changing how it handles profits and public good. The company also renegotiated its partnership with Microsoft to ease past tensions about AGI ownership and rights.
The new OpenAI Foundation holds $130B in equity and will give $25B to health and AI safety projects.
Microsoft’s stake falls from 32.5% to about 27%, now worth around $135B after new funding.
A new panel of experts will check all AGI claims, and Microsoft keeps tech rights until 2032.
This marks a big step for OpenAI, ending years of legal and internal debate. The move could stabilize its partnership with Microsoft and make OpenAI one of the most well-funded philanthropic tech groups in the world.

Nvidia $500B Dream Revealed
Nvidia aims for $500B in revenue with new AI chips and global partnerships.
Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang shared bold plans to reach $500 billion in revenue by 2026 through its Blackwell and Rubin chips. The company also announced new partnerships, open-source models, and major investments at its Washington D.C. event.
The U.S. Dept. of Energy will use over 100,000 Blackwell GPUs for seven new supercomputers made in the U.S.
Nvidia launched open-source AI models for reasoning, robotics, physical AI, and biomedical research.
New partners include Eli Lilly, Palantir, Hyundai, Samsung, and Uber, while Nvidia’s stock hit a record high.
Nvidia’s strong growth and bold bets show it remains the clear leader in AI hardware and innovation, even as others try to catch up.
