OpenAI introduces GPT-4.1 as the upgraded version of GPT-4o, claiming it’s faster, smarter, and cheaper, especially for coding and following user commands.

• 🧠 Comes in three versions: GPT-4.1, Mini, and Nano, with Nano being the smallest, fastest, and cheapest yet

• 🧾 Supports up to 1 million tokens per prompt, a huge jump from GPT-4o’s 128k limit

• 💰 26% cheaper than GPT-4o, and will replace GPT-4.5 API starting July 13

Google AI Learn Dolphin Language!

Google just introduced DolphinGemma, an open-source AI model designed to help scientists decode dolphin sounds and clicks. The model is small enough to run directly on a Pixel phone and was released on National Dolphin Day in the US.

• DolphinGemma helps researchers study how dolphins communicate and even generate dolphin-like sounds.

• Built in partnership with Georgia Tech and the Wild Dolphin Project, trained on data collected since 1985.

• The model uses Google's SoundStream tokenizer to process dolphin sounds like language models process words.

Understanding dolphin communication could bring scientists closer to "talking" with one of the smartest animals on Earth, something that once took years of research, but now might be possible with AI running on your phone.

How to Create Videos with Custom Characters and Objects

1. Visit Pika Lab's website and log in to your account.

2. Select Pika 2.0 and click on "Try Now" to get started.

3. Choose from the available templates or create your own.

4. To customize your scene, click "Ingredients" and add characters, objects, or locations.

5. Describe your video using a prompt, then click "Generate" to turn your photo into a custom scene.

6. Once your scene is ready, download it and share it with others.

This feature is available in the Pika 2.0 Pro version. If you're using Pika 1.5 (Pikaffect), you can still add visual effects to any image for free using credits.
