Hi there,

If AI alignment comes up in your work or should — this one's for you.

On April 16th, Addepto is hosting a free webinar: Aligning AI with Human Values: The Ethics, the Algorithms, and the Gaps.

Presented by Tomasz Adamczyk, Senior AI Engineer at addepto and PhD researcher in AI and cognitive science. He'll cover 50 years of AI history, 5 failure modes of misaligned models, a technical deep dive into PPO, GRPO and DPO, and why post-training may not be enough.

1.5 hours. Live Q&A. Free.

"The people who are crazy enough to think they can change the world are the ones who do.”

How to Write a Week of LinkedIn Posts in 30 Minutes

Most people spend hours staring at a blank screen trying to figure out what to post on LinkedIn. Here's a faster way:

  1. Open Taplio's AI Assist and describe your niche and audience. It analyzes your profile and generates 10 post ideas tailored to you.

  2. Pick one idea and ask it to outline, then draft the full post.

  3. Edit it to sound like you, hit "Schedule Post," and you're done.

Sample prompt: "Analyze my LinkedIn profile and audience, then generate 10 post ideas about [your topic]. Each idea should come from a real work moment, match my tone, and optimize for replies over likes."

Do this once a week. In 30 minutes, you'll have a full content calendar that actually drives conversations.

🔥 Today's Biggest Story

Six months after launch, the world's most hyped AI video app is gone — and it's taking a Disney deal down with it.

OpenAI launched Sora to a million downloads in a week. It beat ChatGPT's own record. It had a Disney deal worth $1 billion. It was supposed to be the future of video. On March 24, OpenAI quietly announced it's shutting the whole thing down — app, API, and website. No exact date. No real explanation. Just: goodbye. Disney's deal? Dead too. Not a single dollar ever changed hands.

Think about what that actually means. OpenAI — the most funded AI company in history, the company that redefined what software can do — built something, hyped it globally, signed a deal with Disney, and then walked away from all of it inside six months. That's not a pivot. That's a signal. Either the technology wasn't ready, the business model didn't work, or something better is coming that makes Sora look obsolete. Maybe all three. What we do know is this: the AI video race is still wide open, Runway and Kling are still standing, and every company watching just learned that even the biggest name in AI can get this completely wrong.

Who's In, Who's Out:

  • The inner circle: Zuckerberg (Meta), Jensen Huang (Nvidia), Larry Ellison (Oracle), Sergey Brin (Google), Marc Andreessen (a16z), Lisa Su (AMD), Michael Dell, and eight others. 13 members total. Up to 24 slots available — more names coming. Only two women on the entire council.

  • The people who didn't get called: Elon Musk — who literally ran Trump's government efficiency project, campaigned alongside him, and whose companies build AI, rockets, and humanoid robots — is not on the list. Neither is Sam Altman. Neither is anyone from Microsoft.

  • What this council is actually built on: Look at who made it. Nvidia makes the chips. Meta and Oracle build the data centers. Google controls the search layer. These are the people who own the physical infrastructure of AI — not the people writing the most headlines about it.

  • The awkward elephant in the room: Musk's xAI competes directly with almost everyone on this council. Grok vs ChatGPT vs Gemini vs Meta AI. Putting him in the same room as Zuckerberg and Jensen to advise on AI policy would have been a conflict of interest dressed up as a meeting. Trump may have simply decided it wasn't worth it.

What it actually means: Trump isn't picking the faces of AI. He's picking the people who control what AI runs on. Chips. Cloud. Compute. Enterprise systems. That tells you everything about how this administration thinks about the technology race with China — not as a chatbot competition, but as an infrastructure war. Whoever controls the hardware controls the outcome.

🔧 Thursday Skill — Tool: Warp Terminal

Your terminal still thinks it's 2012. Warp doesn't.

Most developers spend 2–3 hours a day in the terminal — and almost all of it is the same frustrating loop: half-remembered commands, scrolling through walls of output, googling error messages in a separate tab, copy-pasting back and forth. That loop is completely broken now.

Warp is an AI-native terminal that understands what you're trying to do. Type a plain English description of what you want — "find all files modified in the last 24 hours and list them by size" — and it writes the exact shell command for you, explains it inline, and lets you run it in one click.

Try this in Warp right now →
Type naturally: "Set up a local PostgreSQL database, create a users table with id, email, and created_at, and insert 3 test rows"

Watch it write the full bash + psql sequence.
No Stack Overflow. No tab switching. Just done.
