Google released Nano Banana 2, a faster and cheaper AI image model that now ranks No.1 in quality.
Google has launched Nano Banana 2, the new version of its popular image generator. It brings better image quality, faster speed, and costs about half the price of the older version.
Top performance: Nano Banana 2 ranked No.1 on Artificial Analysis and LM Arena for text-to-image quality, beating NB Pro and GPT Image 1.5.
Higher quality images: It can create images in 4K resolution, while keeping up to five characters and 14 objects consistent, and improves text clarity inside images.
Lower cost and faster speed: Each image costs about 7 cents, almost 2x cheaper than rivals.
This shows that high-quality AI image generation is becoming cheaper and faster at the same time. Before, people had to choose between best quality or low cost, but now they can get both.

Teens are using AI a lot for school and daily life, with many seeing benefits but also more cheating.
A new study by Pew Research Center shows that AI is now common among teens, especially for schoolwork, learning, and fun. Most teens see AI as helpful, but many also believe it is increasing cheating in school.
About 60% of teens said AI cheating is common, and this rises to 75% among teens who use AI themselves
Teens said AI makes life easier, helps learning, and saves time, but some worry about job loss and less creativity
Around 40% of parents said they never talked with their child about AI, showing a gap in awareness and understanding
This shows that AI is already a normal part of teen life, but schools and families are still trying to understand it. AI brings new learning opportunities, but also serious concerns about cheating, education, and future skills.
