Lightricks has upgraded its open-seource LTXV model, now letting users create real-time image-to-video content lasting over 60 seconds, with live editing controls and smooth performance, even on regular consumer computers.
Instant playback: The model starts streaming the video right away, showing the first second immediately, and then builds the rest seamlessly.
Live editing: Users can change elements like pose, depth, and style while the video is still generating.
Runs anywhere: Available in 13B and lightweight 2B versions, LTXV works on consumer GPUs and is free on GitHub and Hugging Face.
Most AI video tools can only make short clips of a few seconds and take a long time to do it. LTXV’s update lets creators direct longer, real-time videos, opening the door to faster, more creative workflows in AI video production.
