How to Expand Videos
Runway's new Expand feature lets you extend video frames seamlessly, turning horizontal videos into vertical ones (and vice versa) without losing details or proper framing. Here's how to use it:
Log in at the RunwayML website.
Choose "Generative Video" and select the Gen-3 Alpha Turbo model.
Upload your video or pick an existing one, then click "Expand" in the left panel.
Add a prompt (optional) or expand the video without one.
Select your desired video size and hit "Generate."
After a few seconds, your expanded video will be ready to download and share.
